Strengthening Ukraine’s Drone Innovation: Visit and Support from Erik Schmidt

At the beginning of 2024, Drone Fight Club, which is part of Drone Fight Group, had the honor of hosting Eric Schmidt, whose strategic support and commitment to defense innovation have had a meaningful impact on Ukraine’s drone ecosystem.

During the visit, we spent a full day presenting our technologies and projects, including the Drone Fight Club Academy, Angel Arrow drones from the Bat Drones R&D center, and the UFDS (Ukrainian Fight Drone Simulator). Thanks to his grant and involvement, we were able to accelerate several development processes and expand the simulator’s capabilities.

Together, we visited the training ground, where we demonstrated our frontline-tested UAVs in real conditions and conducted flight sessions with our combat instructors. This was an important moment for our team: a chance to show how quickly Ukraine’s drone industry is evolving and why continued international support matters.
